Tips for a Successful Session

A successful session begins with proper attire. Your clothing should reflect your personality but also fit properly. Avoid bright colors that will be distracting in a portrait. If we’ll be working outdoors, you should select appropriate casual clothing.

Hair and make-up should be as natural and neutral as possible. If you intend to get a haircut prior to your session, it’s best to do so at least seven to 10 days in advance.

Gentlemen should consider being clean shaven for their session.

Wearing eye glasses often results in unwanted glare on the lenses from studio lights and flashes. Consider not wearing glasses or asking your optician for a pair of empty frames you can borrow for your session.

We'll appreciate you turning off your cell phone during your portrait session.
